- 1 cup Small pasta (ditalini, macaroni, or shells)
- 1 cup Green peas (frozen or fresh)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 small Onion, chopped
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cups Vegetable broth
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- ½ cup Grated Parmesan and fresh parsley Optional
