Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or Fork
  • Non-stick skillet
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 3 large Eggs
  • ¼ cup Diced meat (pre-cooked or leftover)
  • ¼ cup Diced green bell pepper
  • ¼ cup Diced onion (yellow or red for extra flavor)
  • ¼ cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp Milk (optional for creaminess)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Butter or cooking oil (for greasing the skillet)

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Dice the meat, bell pepper, and onion into small pieces. Crack eggs into a bowl, whisk with milk (optional), and season with salt and pepper.
  • Sauté Vegetables & Meat: Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the diced meat, bell pepper, and onion for 3-4 minutes until softened and lightly browned.
  • Add Egg Mixture: Pour the beaten eggs over the sautéed ingredients. Let the eggs set for a moment before gently lifting the edges to let uncooked egg flow to the edges.
  • Add Cheese & Fold: Once the eggs are nearly set, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, then fold the omelet in half. Cook for another minute to melt the cheese.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Slide the omelette onto a plate, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve hot with toast, hash browns, or fruit.
